Announcement and call for papers - 19th North American Forest Biology Workshop

Contributed Oral Presentations and Posters

Oral presentations and posters in all areas of forest biology are invited. Abstracts for both are due October 1, 2006.  Abstracts and posters should follow the format specified below. Please note that it may be necessary to restrict the number of oral presentations to prevent an excessive number of sessions. Early submission of abstracts is encouraged.

Publication

Selected peer-reviewed manuscripts based on the oral presentations will be published in a special issue of Tree Physiology.  Therefore, speakers will be selected based on appropriateness of their topic for inclusion in this journal.  Because of publication deadlines, manuscripts will need to be submitted at the time of meeting, and formatted in accordance with this journal’s guide for contributors (http://heronpublishing.com/tpguide.html).

Abstracts (poster and oral presentations) and questions can be sent to the address listed below.  An abstract submission form must be received by October 1, 2006.  This should include: title, author(s), affiliation(s), address(es), and text.  There is a one-page limit (one-inch margins), using 12-point Times New Roman font.
