Cost Share
Assistance
There are several programs that assist a landowner with the cost of tree planting. Most
of these programs are cost-share programs that will pay for a percentage of the
establishment of the trees. Many of the programs are government programs through various
government organizations but some are supported by private money. The number of
programs out there are confusing, usually the best approach to cost share is to talk to a
professional forester or wildlife biologist to find the program that is right for your
project.
