Pinney Purdue Ag Center is in the Northwestern Morainal natural negion in Porter County. The PAC contains a total of 643 acres, with about 36 acres in forest.

Management plan
Research and education
Managament projects located at Pinney involve forest inventory, forest regeneration, and timber stand and wildlife habiat improvement. The forest was originally used to study the effects of cattle grazing on woodlands. Today, the woodlands is a component of a natural resources, management, demonstration area. This area highlights forest management, native warm season grass establishment, wetland establishement, deer fencing, shrub plantings and a black cherry seed orchard.
