1 course in forest measurements, natural resources assessment or statistics
1 course in plant physiology, genetics, plant anatomy, morphology, cytology, mycology, biochemistry, or soils, depending on the area of specialization

Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (aquaculture, fisheries biology and management, limnology)

1 year college-level biology
*1 semester of calculus
1 year college-level chemistry
1 course in physiology or genetics
1 course in statistics or natural resources assessment
1 course in general ecology
1 course in vertebrate zoology
1 course in aquatic science (fisheries biology or management, aquaculture, ichthyology, limnology, aquatic ecology, or similar)

Forest Information and Assessment/Geographic Information Systems

1 year college-level biology
*1 year calculus
*1 course in computer science
*1 course in statistics
1 course in dendrology or plant taxonomy
1 course in plant ecology or general ecology
1 course in silviculture or forest ecosystems

Genetics

2 years college-level biology
1 year calculus and/or statistics (1 semester of each is permissible)
1 year chemistry
1 course in genetics (population genetics, molecular biology, evolution, conservation genetics of animals or plants).
1 course vertebrate zoology or botany or cell/molecular biology

Natural Resource Social Science

1 year college-level science (biology, ecology, chemistry)
*1 semester calculus
*1 course in statistics
1 course in policy (water, agriculture, natural resources, land-use, wildlife)
1 course in resource economics or management science
1 course in resource management or planning (water resources, forest, wildlife, natural resources, land-use, sustainable development)
1 year social science (sociology, philosophy, history, planning)

Wildlife Science (community ecology, conservation biology, physiology)

1 year college-level biology
*1 semester of calculus
1 year college-level chemistry and/or physics (1 semester of each is permissible)
1 course in statistics

Wood Science and Technology

Mathematics through integral calculus
